The Christian Resource Center (CRC) Library is a Christian and Homeschool library where for over 31 years we have been collecting the most loved and used resources that Bible Believers and Homeschoolers need in a culture that is undergoing massive changes. Hand In Hand provides tutoring to students who need additional support with their reading using the following as methods by our trained tutors:

Logic of English
Reading Support

Uncovering the Logic of English teaches us it doesn't need to be that way since we can empower all students to learn to read through vital knowledge about how written English works. In 2000, the National Reading Panel concluded that when the Five Essential Skills of Reading are incorporated into language arts curricula, students of all ages can become the strong readers, spellers, and writers they were meant to be.

Orton Gillingham
Reading Support

Orton-Gillingham is a teaching approach designed to help struggling readers.

​

  • Explicit instruction that teaches the connection of sounds and letters.

  • Adapts to where the child is at in his or her reading, spelling, and writing abilities.

  • It pioneered the multisensory approach to teaching reading.
